Join like-minded students to support mental health at the first-ever NAMIWalks Ann Arbor on beautiful North Campus — Sunday, September 8, from 8-11 a.m. The walk will begin and end at the NC 92 parking lot.
* 8 a.m. onsite registration & vendor exhibits begin (unnecessary to arrive this early if you pre-register)
* 9 a.m. featured speakers on the importance of supporting mental health in our community
* 10 a.m. walk begins
The purpose of NAMIWalks is to raise awareness and support the mission-driven work of local NAMI affiliates, such as:
* Providing educational programs
* Facilitating support groups and local mental health trainings
* Advocating for integrated healthcare
* Offering a compassionate place to turn for the millions of Americans living with mental illness
We look forward to the positive impact this walk can have on our university community, and we hope to see you there. Together, we can realize a future where mental health is prioritized and supported for all.
