This class is intended to introduce dancers to Brazilian Zouk and one its most iconic features, head movement, in a healthy and sustainable way.We will cover Brazilian Zouk fundamentals and the anatomy and mechanics of head movement that make it feel so good when done well! When led and followed using the techniques from the class, head movement will be clear, controlled, and comfortable. This will allow for many variations of head movement while keeping the follow's body protected, and Brazilian Zouk techniques can be applied to other dances to integrate head movements safely.Please join us to learn a little bit about this dance and way of moving!
