Michigan artist Mary Cody designs colorful jewelry with a subtle message meant to inspire creativity and hope. Speck size 24 kt gold, palladium and glass beads are freely combined in her original weavings. She"picks up the pieces," a look that came by accident after costly beads scattered across the floor. Cody sees her work as representing the lessons in our lives – the unforeseen events often prior to beautiful blessings. Her work has been accepted in fine art shows from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Bellevue, Washington and has been described as miniature works of stained glass.
