ACUM Co-Presidents’ Annual Shared Reading: VISION 2034
In November 2022, President Santa J. Ono announced VISION 2034--a year long process to develop a 10 year strategic vision for the university. It is intended as a guide for us to inform where and how the university will focus its impact to realize its vision to be the defining public university, boldly exemplified by innovation and service to the common good.
How does the Advising Council at the University of Michigan (ACUM) fit into this vision? Join us in a group discussion of pages 1-13 of the document which introduces us to the purpose and the process of VISION 2034 as well as gives us some context on how advisors may contribute to providing life-changing education.
