Sling Health Problem Day is the kickoff event for the 2024-25 curriculum. During the event you will hear 6-8 students deliver short pitches on unmet healthcare needs that they are looking to solve! They will share what type of team members they are looking for and then you will have the chance to network with them during the second half of the event to find the best team for you to join! Every team is guaranteed $1,000 of funding with a chance to win an additional $1,000 of funding at the end of the year. We will have guest speakers throughout the year to teach you key aspects of building a start-up including how to build a prototype, how to develop a business plan, and how to protect your intellectual property.
