We will begin with an overview of The Bard’s life – his family, schooling, and other early influences as well as his career as a poet and playwright in fast-paced, vibrant London during a dynamic time in world history. We will then focus on the plays – how they came to be written and the (very colorful) theatrical milieu out of which they were produced. Mr. Glenn has spent much of his life working in the theatre, with a special interest in
Shakespearean productions.
