Tanya S. Rosenblat is an associate professor of economics at Iowa State University. She will present on "Large Scale Online Field Experiments on Real World Social Networks." She is a research associate at the Institute for Quantitative Social Science at Harvard University and a visiting researcher at Microsoft Research-New England.
Rosenblat is a behavioral economist who uses a combination of laboratory and field experiments to study the economics of social (non-market) interactions. Her recent research has focused on using experimental methods to explore the effects of physical attractiveness in the labor market, trust in societies and social learning. Many of her experiments are web-based field experiments and involve real-world social networks.
