Join us for the award presentation for the 2024 James T. Neubacher Award. This event will be both in person and over zoom, feel free to register for both events so that you can receive the zoom information.
The award is presented to a faculty member, staff member, student, or alum of the University for significant achievements in:
• Empowering people with disabilities.
• Advocating for or advancing disability rights or disability justice
• Increasing the accessibility of programs and services to promote disability inclusion.
The award is sponsored by the U-M Council for Disability Concerns, Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX Office, University Human Resources, Michigan Medicine, and the Office of the President.

Student Accessibility & Accommodation Services will also recognize the four donor families who help make its Disability Funding possible– the Futterman family, the Kristi Sprecher family, the Nejat Family family and the Family of Adam S. Miller-Alex, Marlene, Jeffrey, Emilia, Arin and Jaymie – and celebrate the impact this funding has had on students over the past year.
SAAS will additionally present the Adam Miller Faculty & Staff Award to last year's recipient, U-M Staff member Christopher Taylor.CART and ASL will be provided for this event. If you require any additional accommodations, please let us know.
