Please join us for the next CBSSM seminar scheduled for Wednesday, March 13th, 2013, at 3-4 pm, NCRC Building 16, Room 266C. Charles L. Bosk, PhD, will present a talk entitled, “Medicine in the Radiant City.”
Summary: This talk focuses on the failure of evidence-based guidelines and clinical epidemiology to achieve the improvements in outcomes its advocates have promised.
Dr. Bosk is Professor of Sociology, School of Arts and Sciences, Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, Perelman School of Medicine, & Senior Fellow, Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics, University of Pennsylvania.
