The Construction Management and Sustainability Scholars Program (CMSSP) is hosting the Sustainability in Construction Conference on Friday November 8, 2024.This conference seeks to explore the latest advancements and best practices in sustainability within the building and construction industries.

Four impactful presentations will be made by industry, non-profit, and government leaders:

·John Abraam of SES Engineers
·Jan Culbertson of A3C and Ann Arbor - 2030 District
·Karina Forberger and Tim Kay of JLL
·Missy Stults of the City of Ann Arbor.

In addition to the above presentations, a 3MT competition will be held for interested students to showcase their construction and sustainability ideas in a three-minute presentation. If you have been conducting research or have an idea about sustainability practices in construction, this competition is for you. Each participant will create one slide about their idea and have three minutes to present to the conference attendees. After all presentations have been completed, conference attendees will vote on their favorite 3MT. The winner will receive a $400 prize and the runner-up will receive a $100 prize.
