Join us for a high-energy, hands-on emergency preparedness exercise simulation where you'll face the challenges of containing an outbreak while navigating the incident command structure, communicating and working with other health officials, and keeping the community informed and calm. Think you've got what it takes? Let's step into action and see if we can beat the outbreak before it beats us! Join the Office of Public Health Practice in partnership with the Washtenaw County Health Department on Saturday, November 9 from 10:00am - 2:00pm to immerse yourself in a series of real-life-based emergency scenarios alongside a diverse team of experts. Don't miss this opportunity to learn valuable skills in an exhilarating, hands-on simulation! You will assume the roles of the Incident Command Structure (ICS) and work through these scenarios in interdisciplinary teams. Registration is limited. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
