"Aging with the Patients: Lessons I Have Learnt"

Dr. Patricia Davidson, Professor and Director of the Centre for Cardiovascular and Chronic Care, Faculty of Health, University of Technology Sydney, Australia, is a visiting professor for the Hillman Scholars Program.
An accomplished researcher, Dr Davidson is internationally recognized for her contribution to advancing the science of nursing by improving health outcomes for patients and families affected by chronic illness, particularly cardiovascular disease, in a variety of care settings. Dr Davidson was a full time clinical nurse consultant until 2003, and has only pursued a full time academic career since then. Her productivity and research trajectory demonstrates her productivity, focus, networks and leverage from a strong foundation of clinical expertise and capacity to work in collaborative, interdisciplinary settings.
