LAGS Seminar | Careers for Physicists and Engineers at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory

Jacqueline Beechert (JHU/APL Discovery Program)

Jacqueline graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in physics. Her undergraduate research with Professor Myron Campbell motivated her to pursue a PhD in physics at UC Berkeley, which she completed in 2023. Soon after, she started working at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, Maryland. In today’s LAGS seminar, Jacqueline will discuss the type of technical work available to physicists and engineers at APL, APL’s working culture and benefits, and how to apply for open positions.
