Learn about their opportunities and application process, their culture and efforts around creating a diverse and equitable workplace.Plan to ask your questions during the conversation:Questions to learn more about the organization and application processQuestions to learn more about the organization's DEI effortsWhat to Expect at the In Person FairThe Fair is open to all students affiliated with the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Dearborn and Flint students may attend for the final hour of the fair. Alumni of UM-Ann Arbor must be within 2 years of graduation. Individuals not affiliated with the university will not be granted access to the event. Most organizations are interested in all majors.The Fair is a first step. You will leave with more information about organizations' opportunities, application process and a plan for next steps. You won’t leave the Fair with a job/internship offer.The Fair is thefirst and only visit to campus for most organizations. Recruiters collectresumes, screen candidates and refer to their website to start the application process. Ask these Fair recruiters about next steps and stay connected!Some organizations are returning to campus for one-on-one interviews. Check Handshake for on-campus interview dates and deadlines Also ask about next steps and stay connected with organizations that are not returning to campusRegistrationRegistration is on-site (Michigan League / 2nd floor) the day of the event. In order to be admitted to the Job & Internship Fair you must comply with the following:Bring your MCard and be ready to provide your UMID numberProvide your MCard to the UCC staff working registration for verificationOnce checked-in, you'll be given a wristband Once you have your wristband, you'll be admitted into the two rooms with our employersEvery student must check-in individually for the event. One student may not check in for multiple students. What to WearFair dress is business professional or business casual. This means:Dress slacks and shirt/tie, skirt and blouse, dress or a business suitNeed help building your professional attire? Plan to visit the University Career Center Clothes Closet What to BringCopies of your resume…plus a few extra for organizationsyou weren’t planning to meetA folder for carrying your resumes and anyinformational materials from organizations.No need for a cover letterPlease leave backpacks at home. With so many employers we don’t have space for storing AccommodationWe want to ensure full and equitable participation in our events.
