Join the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Adventure Leadership in celebrating adventure and our newest exhibit, Down the River with Elzada Clover.

Dr. Elzada Clover contained multitudes; she was a brazen botanist, the first female University of Michigan botany professor, the first female Matthaei Botanical Gardens curator, and the first scientist to document the flora of the remote Grand Canyon. Our new exhibit explores her remarkable journey and enduring contributions.

During this event:
-Engage in a guided nature hike, led by Adventure Leadership, to renew your sense of adventure and awe
-Participate in a nature-journaling exercise designed to help inspire your personal connection with nature
-Admire a wide variety of plants and make your own potted plant to take home with you

Round-trip transportation from central campus to Matthaei Botanical Gardens provided. Register in advance to receive transportation reminders.
