Jackopierce is the Dallas duo of Jack O'Neill and Cary Pierce. They got together in the late 1980s, recorded a couple of albums for A&M, toured with the likes of the Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox 20, and Sheryl Crow. Then they broke up -- and five years later they reunited due to sheer popular demand for their gorgeous harmonies, highly melodic acoustic pop and rock songs, and evocative lyrics that take you to new places. Their latest CD, "Promise of Summer," celebrates their two decades of making music and delivers a full dose of their Mellencamp-tinged roots rock and infectious pop.
