The Peace Corps brings together skilled, committed Volunteers with welcoming host communities for service opportunities in more than60 countries. Volunteers live and work side by side with community members on locally prioritized projects, building relationships, exchanging cultures and knowledge, and helping transform lives for generations. Work alongside farmers overseas to feed our world. The Peace Corps needs agriculture specialists to address food security, conservation concerns, and environmental issues at grassroots levels. Learn how you can offer your knowledge and skills to develop sustainable solutions with communities abroad, while gaining transferable skills for your career.The Peace Corps provides each Volunteer with housing and a living stipend that enables them to live and work alongside the people in their community of service. Unlike other international volunteer programs, there is nocharge to participate in the Peace Corps. There is no application fee, and reimbursement of medical services that are required as part of the medical clearance process has no limit. Upon completion of two years of service, the Peace Corps provides each Volunteer with more than $10,000 (pre-tax) to help with the transition to life back home. This money is yours to use as you wish.
