LeRoy Bell is the nephew of Thom Bell, who formed the legendary Philly soul production group Mighty Three Music with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff. As a uoung staff writer there, LeRoy wrote or co-wrote songs that would be recorded by The Spinners, The O'Jays, The Temptations, Rita Marley, and Elton John, who became a fan of LeRoy and recorded his "Mama Can't Buy Me Love" among other songs. LeRoy recently released his sixth album, "Rock 'n' Soul," building on his expanded global presence as a top-ten finalist on the first season of "The X Factor." LeRoy comfortably embraces a wide range of genres. He’s a passionate soul/R&B singer, a powerful blues-rocker, and equally easily an acoustic folk/soul singer, capable of captivating an audience with intimate performances either alone or with his band, His Only Friends.
