US Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program Information Session
The US Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program at UM is looking for new members! The US Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed volunteer component of the Coast Guard. The Auxiliary University Program (AUP) offers leadership and public service opportunities to Michigan students interested in making a difference through volunteer work. In the AUP, you will have the chance to support Coast Guard missions while simultaneously participating in hands-on work and training of your choice. You can explore a variety of opportunities including boating, search and rescue, marine safety, disaster response, environmental education, environmental protection, and more. AUP students have the unique opportunity to participate in an internship with the Coast Guard at stations around the country and on vessels that travel the globe. Interested? We will be having an in-person information session this coming Wednesday, 1/22 from 7PM to 8PM, in North Quad Room 2245. A virtual Zoom option will also be available at this link, however pizza will be provided for those who come in person!
