Generation APA: Panorama
Asian and Pacific Islander Cultural Show

The annual GenAPA cultural show will be held on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 at the Michigan Theater. With roughly 300 performers and 1,300 audience members, GenAPA stands as the largest student-run pan-Asian cultural programs. Promoting cultural diversity through tradition and history remains intrinsic to the core values of GenAPA.
This year’s theme is “Panorama” which conveys expanding the lens on APIA culture, moving beyond its typical focus to offer a broader, more inclusive view. By juxtaposing the narrow scope of a picture with the wide view of a panorama, we are capturing the diversity and complexity of APIA communities.
In addition to our headliner, we have several student groups performing. Our student groups include Michigan Malaysian Student Association, Filipino American Student Association, Michigan Masala, Michigan TAAL, KGayo3, VeryUs, Greenwood, UM Taekwondo Demonstration Team, Yuru Band, Revolution Yoyo, Muay Thai, and Moli
