Join the Ecological Restoration Club at Matthaei Botanical Gardens in transplanting native plant seedlings. MBGNA grows native plants as part of their ecological restoration and education efforts. The native plants support a highly diverse group of invertebrates (bees, butterflies, moths, beetles, leafhoppers, etc.), which in turn provide food for many other species. The native plants add beauty to our world while also helping to reduce soil erosion and increase soil fertility, aeration, and water infiltration.
