Black Love Day Kick-Off: An Uplifting Celebration

Join us as we commemorate Black Love Day, observed annually on February 13th. Created in 1993 by Ayo Handy-Kendi, this day is dedicated to celebrating love, peace, forgiveness, and reconciliation. Black Love Day is intended for all people to exhibit love through action and not just words.

We are honored to welcome Natalie Malone (she/her), is a counseling psychology doctoral candidate and Black Feminist researcher who prioritizes Black womxn's *wholistic health and sexual/reproductive health. Additionally, Natalie is a certified yoga teacher and pilates instructor who integrates complementary health approaches and embodiment practices into her research, clinical services, and consultation. Her professional experience includes clinical work in numerous mental health settings, community-based participatory action research and outreach, and federally funded project management. Natalie is a published author with 46 publications in scientific journals and textbooks. Additionally, she is a celebrated speaker with over 20 presentations domestically and internationally.
