2025 Sports & Entertainment Spring Break NYC Immersion: BSE and Overtime

Spend one day with Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) andOvertime through the University Career Center Immersion experience on Wednesday, March 5th!This Immersion experience allows students to meet with various staff at each location, learn about different internships and jobs within different industries, and put your knowledge to the test in interactive activities. This is a great experience for students wantingto learn about what it's like to work in NYC. During the immersion students will have the opportunity to engage with the following employers:BSE: BSE Global is a leading sports and entertainment company based in Brooklyn, New York, overseeing teams and venues such as the Brooklyn Nets (NBA), New York Liberty (WNBA), Long Island Nets (NBA GLeague), and Barclays Center. Since opening in 2012, Barclays Center has hosted major concerts and sporting events, serving as the home for the Nets and Liberty. Overtime: Overtime is a sports media company that focuses on creating engaging and authentic content for Gen Z, particularly through short-form videos and social media platforms.They cover a wide range of sports, from mainstream leagues to emerging athletes, with a focus on highlighting personality and culture.Agenda for March 5th:
Morning visit with BSE 9:15am-12:15pm
Lunch at your own expense at a nearby food hall
Afternoon visit with Overtime 2pm-4pm
Applications will close on Wednesday, February 12th. Priority will be given to studentsthat submit their application early. Don't wait - slots fill quickly & the application may close early! Please note that by applying to this Immersion you are agreeing to attend should you be selected.Studentsmust be able to attend the full program in NYC to participate. UniversityCareer Center staff will be along with you on the Immersion to guide you through the day, and more details will be provided to the selected participants. Transportation is NOT provided for students to this event/New YorkCity. Students will be responsible for transportation, meals & lodging. If the expense is a concern, please indicate that you'd like to be considered for financial aid in your application!
