We are excited to announce the 2025 Conference on Sustainable Food Procurement by Institutions, taking place April 21-23, 2025, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor! This year’s event will bring together procurement specialists, dining directors, foodservice suppliers, academics, and students from across the higher education foodservice community. Whether you’re new to sustainable procurement or a seasoned expert, the conference will provide valuable education, hands-on engagement, and networking opportunities for attendees at all levels.

New this year: The conference will kick off on April 21 with a special student-focused pre-conference day, featuring a sponsored case competition, career fair, and networking reception. This unique opportunity will help students explore careers in procurement and sustainability while connecting with industry professionals.
The main conference will feature interactive workshops, an academic poster fair, and a supplier showcase highlighting innovative research and sustainability initiatives in food procurement. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience sustainability in action through tours of local sustainable food operations.
