As India undergoes rapid transformation, its education sector is evolving to meet new challenges and opportunities. From pioneering research to educational reforms, Indian universities have played a significant role on the global stage.

Join us for an engaging discussion on the intersection of education, democracy, and international collaboration. We will explore the role of universities in shaping democratic values, the evolving relationship between Indian universities and the state, and the ways in which government support can enhance higher education for the public good.

Finally, we will examine how U.S. research institutions can contribute to India’s educational landscape through partnerships, student and faculty exchanges, and shared initiatives. As the global education system adapts to a changing world, what is the future of international academic collaboration?
