M-CLIC presents: The "CLIC-N-CUTZ" Barbershop Series Finale (3/27/25)

Men of Color Leading & Investing in Community (M-CLIC) presents: "The CLIC-N-CUTZ" Barbershop Series Topic: “Red Pill Poppin: Exploring the Influence of the Manosphere”Featuring Special Guest: Mr. Brandon Bond, Mental Health & Well-Being Project Lead
In today's digital landscape, online communities such as Red Pill content and the broader Manosphere have become polarizing spaces that discuss masculinity, gender roles, and societal dynamics. For BIPOC men in college, navigating these narratives can be particularly complex due to the intersection with race, culture, and identity. In this interactive barbershop workshop we will explore the origins, themes, and impact of Red Pill and Manosphere content on individuals and society. Through guided discussions, activities, and real-world examples, participants will critically examine these ideologies and reflect on how to cultivate healthier and more empowering perspectives on masculinity and relationships.
About M-CLIC: M-CLIC is a university-wide mentorship initiative open to all participants of any race or gender who seek to engage and foster a stronger sense of community and support for men of color at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Event Highlight: M-CLIC's signature workshop, the "CLIC-N-CUTZ" Barbershop Series, a unique, informative, and safe-spaced barbershop experience. Beyond free haircuts and refreshments from local licensed barbers, participants sit back and engage in trending topics and critical issues affecting men of color while brainstorming effective solutions to counteract some of today's stresses.M-CLIC - Conversation.
