Please join us for a live taping of the Population Healthy podcast, produced by the University of Michigan School of Public Health. This live event commemorates the 70th anniversary of the announcement of the polio vaccine, a momentous event in world history. The announcement was made at Rackham Auditorium on the U-M campus by School of Public Health professor Thomas Francis and Jonas Salk, developer of the vaccine. The conversation will feature Matt Boulton, Senior Associate Dean of Global Public Health and Professor of Epidemiology at the School of Public Health, and Natasha Bagdasarian, Chief Medical Executive of the State of Michigan, adjunct faculty in the Department of Epidemiology, and an alumna of Michigan Public Health.
