Signal in the Noise: A Biomedical Engineer’s Journey from Imaging to Startups to Venture Capital

Abstract:
John Seamans will share insights from a career focused on decoding the invisible: first through medical images, and now by evaluating and supporting startups. From developing image processing algorithms and designing coronary CT systems to advancing breast cancer screening and cutting through the noise in early-stage investing, the ability to detect signals and recognize patterns has been a constant theme. Learn how small steps can expand your perspective beyond technical expertise to build clinical and business leadership skills.
