Community Dialogue Regarding Da'Quan Carter Video
RSVP-landrum@umich.edu
A dialogue will take place this Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Ambatana / Afro-American Lounge in South Quad to discuss the impact of the recent Da’Quan Carter video and to explore how we can move forward together as a community. If you plan on coming, please RSVP by Wednesday at 9 a.m. by emailing landrum@umich.edu.
The purpose of Wednesday’s dialogue is just that – to create and maintain a respectful and inclusive environment that supports each and all of us to prosper here at U-M, where we are all learners. Our approach for the conversation will be informed by the philosophy and practice of restorative justice, which seeks to understand what happened, who was affected and how, and how to “make it right.
