Join us for the opening reception of Envi­sion: The Michi­gan Artist Ini­tia­tive 2025 at Stamps Gallery. The exhibition features new work by the three Envision finalists, artists Conor Fagan, Katie Mongoven, and Sara Nickleson. All three artists will be in attendance at the reception, and the jury will reconvene to announce the Envision 2025 Award recipient, who will receive a $5,000 prize. Light refreshments and music will be provided.
Envi­sion: The Michi­gan Artist Ini­tia­tive 2025, is designed to sup­port the devel­op­ment of con­tem­po­rary artists liv­ing and work­ing in Michi­gan. The three finalists were selected by jurors: Juana Williams, art curator and writer; Melinda Zacher Ronayne, former director of visual arts at the Interlochen Center for the Arts; and Parisa Ghaderi, assistant professor of graphic design at Shoreline Community College and winner of the 2023 Envision: Michigan Artist Initiative Award.
Envi­sion: The Michigan Artist Initiative 2025 is on view at Stamps Gallery from June 26 - August 2, 2025.
