We welcome poet and National Book Award finalist Patricia Smith and her husband, Edgar Award winning mystery writer Bruce DeSilva for the 2013 Ann Arbor Book Festival keynote address. Books authored by Smith and DeSilva will be available for sale courtesy of Crazy Wisdom Bookstore.

Following the presentation, Leaders in the LIterary Arts (LILA) awards will be presented to Evans Young, longtime chair of the Ann Arbor Book Festival board, and Aunt Agatha’s, Ann Arbor’s famous 4th Avenue mystery bookstore.

The Ann Arbor Book Festival promotes reading, heightens awareness of literacy challenges, and showcases the rich culture of the written word in Michigan and beyond.
