Prof. Gilliard will also be the feature speaker of an open discussion moderated by commUNITY with students & postdocs (but no faculty) about navigating a career in STEM from a beginning student to becoming a named professor at MIT. This will be a great opportunity to hear directly perspectives and advice from an accomplished scientist with a strong track record both in research and in effective mentoring.
