On December 4th, Shmooze is going to be hosting an Ashkenazi food symposium featuring Zingerman's Zack Berg. Our symposium will be held after Shabbat dinner. Zack will be speaking about the evolution of Jewish cooking, emphasizing Ashkenazi cooking and how it has developed over time. We will also be looking at American Jewish cooking traditions. Naturally, we are going to have some delicious nosh (think Cholent, potato kugel, and many other traditional Ashkenazi items).
