This workshop will provide faculty and instructors with an overview of disability considerations in higher education. It will highlight how to create accessible and inclusive learning environments and the significance of effective academic accommodations for learning outcomes. Participants will learn about campus resources, communication strategies, disability etiquette, and proactive course design tips to support all students. The session aims to equip instructors with tools and knowledge to promote equitable access and academic success for students with disabilities.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning services will be provided. If you need additional accommodations to participate in this webinar, please email the ADA Coordinator at ADAcoordinator@umich.edu.
