Interested in learning more about American Sign Language Interpreters and how to work successfully with interpreters and Deaf employees? This session will highlight what an ASL interpreter does, what communication needs are, and the best practices for partnering with interpreters in a workplace setting. Participants will learn various strategies for communicating with Deaf/hard-of-hearing/Deaf-Blind individuals and interpreters.

American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) captioning services will be provided. If you need additional accommodations to participate in this webinar, please email the ADA Coordinator at ADAcoordinator@umich.edu.
