How to Flourish
Dips with the DPEs is apart of the How to Flourish (HTF) Workshop that is offered through Trotter Multicultural Center's workshop/ and or programming series. HTF is a series of program or workshops that is based off of the Model of Wellbeing. Each dimension of wellness focuses on eight areas: physical, mental, environmental, financial, occupational, social, intellectual, and spiritual. Dips with the DPEs focuses on the environmental wellness dimension. Historically for first-year and first gen students, this workshop is open to any and everybody.
Join the Diversity Peer Educators (DPEs) as they stop by the Trotter Multicultural Center to share advice and insights for first-year students on navigating campus life, building community in the residence halls, and getting involved with the Multicultural Council. This interactive panel offers attendees the opportunity to ask questions about adjusting to college, building community, and accessing supportive campus resources. They’ll also gain helpful tips and guidance for applying to the Diversity Peer Educator role. And of course, chips and dips will be provided as we “dip” into meaningful conversations about making U-M home!
