Rainbow Tales Brings Family-Fun to the U-M Detroit Center

Bring the whole family to the University of Michigan Detroit Center for a fun-filled theatrical performance of Rainbow Tales. Two performances of this 75-minute program will be performed at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. Complimentary admission, parking and light refreshments will be available for all attendees.
Performed by 17 students from the Youth Theatre Fellows Program, the play features comedic skits, music and dance. With stories adapted by Dr. Addell Austin Anderson, the program includes imaginative retellings of Rudyard Kipling’s The Sing-Song of Old Man Kangaroo, The Three Little Pigs, The Prodigal Son, and Aesop’s The Tortoise and the Hare. Mosaic Theatre staff member Jarrett Thomas directs this lively show, while U-M Theatre Performance Major Eric Myrick serves as Assistant Director and Dance Captain. The play is appropriate for kids of all ages and is a great way to introduce your child to the wonderful world of theatre.
