Region 7 CPS Conservatorship Virtual Hiring Fair
Texas DFPS is hosting a Virtual Hiring Fair for the CPS Conservatorship Position on October 23, 2025, at 8:30am. What does a Conservatorship Specialist do? Conservatorship Specialists are a specific type of caseworker legally responsible for a child's welfare whenever they are removed from their home and monitors children's care while CPS Conservatorship. They work closely with parents, extended family, and legal parties to help children find a permanent, safe place to live. Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree
Associates degree or 60 accredited college hours PLUS two years of relevant work experience.
90 accredited college hours PLUS one year of relevant work experience
