Explore a collection of Classic Chinese graphic novels (English/Chinese) that educate as they entertain by bestselling Taiwanese comic artist C.C. Tsai (Tsai Chih-chung 蔡志忠).
Two talks by CC Tsai's book translator/author, Brian Bruya, and educator Austin Belanger-Iott will cover the following topics:
1) how CC Tsai became a bestselling cartoonist,
2) the methods by which translation opened a new market and readership, and
3) the ways that storytelling and visual communication engage students and readers of all ages.
