Roundtable is a non-partisan club that helps students develop their political views through research, reflection, and discussion. Every week, we pick a new political question to discuss, such as affirmative action, immigration, homelessness, AI, police use of force, and the conflict in the Middle East. We value open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and increasing understanding across our differences through conversation. 
This event will start with a short presentation summarizing the research on the effects of the death penalty. This will be followed by moderated discussion and reflection activities meant to stimulate critical thinking and open inquiry. Regardless of your existing views or how much you know about the death penalty, we invite you to join us!
