Stamps MFA & Faculty Open Studios
You’re Invited: Stamps MFA & Faculty Open Studios
Join us from 6–8:30 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Stamps Graduate and Faculty Studios for a celebratory evening of art, conversation, and community. Graduate students and faculty with studios at Green Road will open their doors and welcome visitors in for casual conversations about their creative process, artistic practice, and research. In addition to opening individual artist studios to the public, MFA students and faculty will present screenings, performances, music, art editions and more, with seasonal, festive beverages and snacks available.
Additional programming at Open Studios will include:
6 - 8:30 p.m. - Group Screening Program
Throughout the event, several time-based video works by our MFA Students will be viewable in the MDES room on a looping reel.
7 p.m. - Loretta's Legacy
Join us for Loretta's Legacy, a pop-up participatory art installation by Michaela Nichelle. The audience is asked to bring or trade a non-perishable food item or emptied pop can to the Candy Lady to gain a treat of their choosing.
8 p.m. - Penny Stamps Heavyweight Championship: Marzanna vs The Butcher
This performance in the main space of the studios will feature Michelle Cieloszczyk, Bert Cook, other members of the MFA program, and... wrestling!
Celebrate the end of the semester and the exciting art-making happening at the MFA & Faculty studios at Stamps School of Art & Design! RSVP is optional, but will help us to plan for the event.
