Presented By: Generation APA Cultural Show
Generation APA "Lucid"
The annual GenAPA cultural show will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at the Michigan Theater. With roughly 300 performers and 1,300 audience members, GenAPA stands as the largest student-run pan-Asian cultural programs. Promoting cultural diversity through tradition and history remains intrinsic to the core values of GenAPA.
This year’s theme, “Lucid,” captures the essence of awareness and intentionality in art and expression. To be lucid is to see clearly and understand the layers of history, emotion, and identity that shape creativity within the A/PIA community. The show invites performers and audiences alike to reflect on what it means to create art in a world that often oversimplifies or stereotypes their stories. Through our show, we aim to celebrate cultural heritage while empowering students to define their identity on their own terms.
