Join BLUElab Metro, a community-engaged sustainable engineering project team on campus, to celebrate the week of Martin Luther King Day! BLUElab Metro is partnering with T.C. Collins, the founder of a local community farm in Ypsilati, Willow Run Acres; their mission is to spread awareness and education about food sovereignty, sustainable agriculture, and seed saving to his local community. Our mission with this event is to promote unity and brighten people’s days through small acts of inspiration, kindness and joy. We will be painting inspirational messages and colorful patterns on rocks to be spread around Willow Run Acres’ gardens. This event will be hosted in the Creation Lab in the IdeaHub at the Union. This event will be very casual (pop in pop out whenever), and it’s a great way to take a quick study break, hang out with friends, or meet some new ones. We hope to see you there!
