Intermediate Spanish, and Writing Memoirs

Spanish class ($40) meets Wednesdays, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. Sept 18 - Nov 27. No class on October 2 or November 6. Grace Bible Church, 1300 S. Maple.
This class will enable you to review the Spanish that you've studied in the past. You can improve your ability to speak, read and understand the language through oral practice, grammar exercises and reading. We will use the book "Complete Spanish Grammar" by Gilda Nissenberg (SBN 978-0-07-142270-3) (Copyright 2004). Facilitated by Jeanne Van Octen.
Writing Memoirs class ($40) meets Wednesdays, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sept 18 - Dec 11 at Glacier Hills, 1200 Earhart.
Members of the group will write about their memories and provide a copy to each of the other members. We will read them aloud and discuss them in the group. Zibby Oneal has published several novels based on her own memories, mainly of her younger years, and has presented similar OLLI classes.
