Class meets Thursdays, September 19 - November 7.
The class time will be organized as follows: The first hour of each class will be devoted to viewing a French-language tape prepared at Yale University, followed by exercises to test comprehension. The second hour will be devoted to the continued reading of Stendahl's "Le Rouge et le Noir. " Taught by Adele McCarus.
