The Faith of the Founding Fathers and the Importance of Religion in American Life

Class meets Mondays, September 23 - November 11.
The class will show how the religious views of the founders influenced America's historical path. We will demonstrate how their religious inclinations influenced the Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights, American Exceptionalism and Manifest Destiny, which were fundamental to guiding our progress. Please obtain the book "Faiths of the Founding Fathers" by David L. Holmes. Taught by John Cameron and Jim Melosh.
