The Honorable Christopher Taylor will share his perspective on town-gown relations during his three terms as Ann Arbor mayor, after serving three terms on city council. The mayor believes the mission of local government is to improve basic services and enhance quality of life for residents. Professionally, Taylor is a partner at the Ann Arbor law firm of Hooper Hathaway, where his legal practice focuses on estate planning and small business representation. He is a four-time graduate of U-M with bachelor’s degrees in English and vocal performance, a master’s degree in history and a Juris Doctor from the Law School. He has lived in Ann Arbor for more than 30 years.
