Global Citizenship and Social Responsibility in Research
Are you doing research within a community setting? Is your research connected to a topic or issue that could make a global impact? Are you unsure of how to build effective relationships with community partners? Developed in collaboration with the Ginsberg Center, this workshop is focused on how to be more socially responsible within research and when working with communities. Examples will include multiple disciplines and give participants the opportunity to discuss and reflect on how they could adapt their research to ensure the approach is both ethical and equitable.
This workshop is open to all master’s, Ph.D., and postdoctoral scholars at the University of Michigan. If you have any questions, please reach out to rackhampdeworkshops@umich.edu.
