Wonder Walk: Spring Equinox Time for Change
Free guided nature walk
The Spring Equinox can be a transformative time: the weather is warming, the winds are picking up, and the buds are swelling. Join us on Sunday, March 22nd, as we hit the trails to look for signs of spring and learn about how the equinox is celebrated all across the globe. We'll listen for early spring birds returning and look for early Spring bloomers, such as witch-hazel. Tune up your well-being by spending time outdoors to celebrate the Spring Equinox.
Matthaei Botanical Gardens is hosting free guided nature walks on select Wednesdays and Sundays. These walks are FREE, open to the public, and no registration is required. Wonder Walks are designed for all ages to inspire curiosity and learning from each other through activities that model curiosity and honor nature. If we have a sizeable mixed-age group, we may separate into two sets to offer the same content at different levels of engagement.
