MFA Student Thesis: The Spring Sacrifice of Marzanna
MFA Student Michelle Cieloszczyk and the Ann Arbor Polonia Association invites you to reinterpret a thousand-year-old Slavic cultural tradition on the mythological figure of Marzanna, the goddess of winter, disease, and death. Join Michelle and other participants by participating in a parade with a live singing choir.

Effigy Parade: 2pm - 3pm (Open to the public)
Reception to follow
This event is all ages and free to attend. Please note a portion of this event will take place outdoors and requires walking on a trail. Dress weather accordingly and wear winter/hiking shoes. Also note, this event will be video-documented.
